corn. for corn syrup, factory farm feeding, crazy pollution and govt subsidies to big agribusiness. you can't actually eat this corn, but it is all over this part of the country.

Roadtrip tour heaven

so i didn't really want to start some new blog or anything, and really we are in the center of (north) america right now, so perhaps it's appropriate to stick these pics up here.

we left over a week ago now, kate and jason made us all breakfast in oakland first

this is post-cry

ate amazing lunch at lake shasta and then went swimming

first night camped at crater lake, oregon. here are pictures of the pinnacles near the lake

first show was in portland -- kim's brother matt came down and so did paul

seattle
suze

eric came down too

we've been using the same garbanzo bean cans to eat miso soup and dinner and drink coffee in

this is in montana. we camped next to this amazing river. the light was amazing the night before when we got there and went for a swim.

there's apparently a ton of meth in montana as there are hundreds of dramatic anti-meth pleas to youngsters on the highway. this is a tae kwon do place with some anti-meth murals

the badlands, south dakota. mindblowing.

wall drug, south dakota

we drove from the badlands to la crosse in one stretch

in la crosse at kim's incredible coffee stomping ground
more later! xoxo
