perfection

can´t post any photos on this computer but there are plenty of good ones for later on. marnie and i have spent the last few days in playa zancudo in the southwestern part of costa rica. it´s amazing here, no taco bells or many people at all, just a quiet beach town with a bumpy dirt road and a big beautiful ocean. the ride here was gorgeous -- several iguanas ran out on the road and we passed miles of palm trees and small towns and jungle. we are staying in this gorgeous cabina with our own kitchen and have made some pretty hilarious bike trips, sometimes after a few imperials, down the road to the grocery store. the last few days have consisted of getting up early, drinking coffee on the porch, reading, swimming, making food, swimming, reading, etc. it´s just what we both needed. last night was the town disco which only happens on saturdays so of course we had to partake. i was the beneficiary of an impromptu salsa lesson from a fisherman and marnie met some really sweet people who are going to take us to this other beach on tuesday and get us on some surfboards. it´s awesome to be out of the rain. our bug bites are starting to heal up and we´re here for a few more days..
